About the Event

Our Fishing for Fun sessions offer an opportunity for children to learn how to fish or develop any fishing skills they have already learned.  

All young people will work towards an Angling Trust Get Fishing certificate.

Fishing is an ideal activity for all offering benefits for mental health and wellbeing.  

These sessions are run for those eligible for income‑related free school meals and for young people from low‑income working families who may be vulnerable, inactive or socially isolated.
