For a while we have been looking at how we can expand our work into Hertfordshire. With Julia, our volunteer, passing her Angling Trust Angling Event Lead Coach training recently, we are now in a position to move this plan forward. Today we had the pleasure to meet with Jessica Baird, Active Local Officer for Bedwell, Stevenage, at Fairlands ValleyPark, to discuss the work that we do and the support that Herts Sport and Physical Activity Partnership can offer us to deliver both our Fish and Chat and Get Fishing sessions in the area.
We are looking forward to working with Jessica and taking this project further. Over the next few weeks we will be having further discussions and working on funding bids with the aim to start sessions during the spring/summer.
